Man Escapes Injury After Scooter Collides With Bus
A man on a scooter had a lucky escape last night when he collided with a bus in Dublin.
The incident happened on Thursday 14 February.
Pictures shared by Gardaí show the bike wedged under the double-decker.
Officers warned road users of all vehicle types to take care on the roads.
They said: "DMR South Central RPU: Rider of this scooter had a very lucky escape this evening when he was in collision with a bus. Please stay safe."

Minimum Age For E-Scooter Use Raised To 18 From 2 October
Minister for Transport Darragh O'Brien and Minister of State with responsibility for Road Safety Seán Canney have signed regulations increasing the minimum legal age for e-scooter riders from 16 to 18. The measure takes effect on 2 October 2026. At the same time, the government has doubled charges for the detention and storage of seized e-scooters.
