€60k Cocaine Seized In Co Cork Raid
Gardaí in Co Cork have seized over €60,000 worth of suspected cocaine and a suspected imitation firearm.
The drugs were discovered at a house in the Newmarket area on Thursday night, 12 September.
No arrests have been made as yet.
An investigation is ongoing and all items will be sent for analysis.

Gardaí have seized suspected explosives in Co Meath as part of an operation targeting the activities of dissident republicans. Officers seized the materials when they stopped two cars on the N52 on Tuesday. Two men were arrested at the scene. A third man was arrested during a following up investigation.

Cocaine Seized At Port Of Cork
Customs officers have seized cocaine worth an estimated €1.75m hidden in a shipping container at the Port of Cork. It is understood that officials were inspecting containers being unloaded from a vessel that had arrived from Central America. Gardaí confirmed that an investigation has been launched but no arrests have yet been made.

Gardaí from the Limerick Divisional Drugs Unit, with assistance from Regional Units, executed search warrants at two separate properties in Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick, on Wednesday 10 June 2026. The operation was carried out as part of ongoing efforts to disrupt the sale and supply of illegal drugs within the region.

14 Suspected Stolen Vehicles Seized In Co Longford
14 suspected stolen vehicles have been seized in a garda operation in Co Longford. In an intelligence led operation, garda seized 12 Ford transit vans, a camper van and a caravan. Garda from Granard and Longford were joined by officers from the Department of Social Welfare and officers from Revenue Custom and Excise.

Gardaí in Co Galway carried out searches at two locations in Tuam on 21 September 2026 as part of ongoing efforts to tackle the sale and supply of drugs under Operation Tara. Suspected cocaine with an estimated value of €183,000 was seized.
